Norwegian postal service at its finest
I just have to tell you this story. Its kinda weird
On the 20th octobre i bought this hungarian bayonet, paid it at once and the selles said she'd send it asap.
So she posted it the 22nd as B mail . B-mail takes 5-7 days to arrive . However, on the 23rd i got a paper in my mailbox that tells me that i have got a packet that is too big for my mailbox , so i have to go to the post office after 4 pm to get it.
Well , i went there and claimed my packet . And what did i get
A hollow paper tube wich should have contained my bayonet.
Obviously one of the plastic ends had not been taped properly so it had fallen off and my bayonet was gone
I filled out the MIA papers and was told to wait until i got a call.
Well , on november 4th i got a call from the postal service that it had been found and i could expect it to arrive in a couple of days.
Wow , i thought , could the postal service actually find something that was MIA ????
Now , i waited , and waited , and waited until november 15th before i called the customers service again.
This is a 5 digit number and costs 3 euro pr minute to call. After 5 minutes waiting in line i finally came trough and the no-brain blonde that works for the customers service told me to contact my local post office because on her computer it said that it was sent to me november 6th.
Then i had to fill out a new MIA paper and still wait
I must admit that i dont think much of norwegian postal service and this was really a new low for them.
First loosing my packet , then finding it just to loose it again .. Hurrraaaaa
not
Well, today, finally , after 4 weeks it arrived .
It probably cost me the same amount that i paid for the bayonet , in phone calls and gas for driving to the post office ..
But for once , norwegian postal service worked as they should . Not fast , but they worked ..
