What about those "M3" fighting knives on the left with the S shaped crossguards?

These 2 knifes are RNoAF (norwegian air force) field knifes. Made as a M3 copy
Approx 500 made as a trial model . 20-25 of these has "KIFFE" marked blades.

The fighting knife in the lower right hand corner is Dutch WW1 fighting knife that was captured and modified by the Germans in WW2. I have so far seen one picture in a book and it is nice to see one in a collection. It could be a German modification typically done in Norway as it is known that these Beutewaffen were used in Norway.

Best regards,

Kilian

Yes this is a Stormdolk. This is a german modification witch is very common to find in Norway.

The germans used a lot of forreign daggers in Norway during the war. Stormdolk's and french "vengeurs"

Nice rifles, do you shoot any (all) of them ?

Auteur:  PREST1 [ 22 jan 2012, 16:44 ]

No i dont shoot them.
Half of them are deactivated and the rest are collectors weapon. Unfortunately norwegian law forbids shooting with collectors weapons.

Really sad because i would really like to have tried my AG 42 Ljungman

Sorry to hear that, I thought Norwegian gun laws were rather liberal.

I have some shooting experience with 7 of the rifles you showed (M-N, Swedish M., M1917, M39, L-E, MAS, M1) and my favorite is the Finn M39.

Could you show some more details of the M39? I’m really, really, really fond of that rifle.
